Edit
A flag is a piece of fabric, often flown from a pole or mast. Often decorated with emblems, symbols, or shapes to represent one's country or an event. Soldiers may be carrying a war flag.
Flag is only applicable if the fabric in question is horizontally-oriented, if it flows vertically use banner instead.
If the flag is of a specifically known real country, please add that country as a tag.
