The Russian flag has three horizontal stripes of white, blue, and red respectively.

In many cases, the term "Russian flag" is also synonymous with the flag of the Soviet Union, which is a red flag with a hammer and sickle logo on it. To prevent confusion, this flag is termed the Soviet flag.
