Has grossed over US$1.36 billion in the box office worldwide against a US$100 million budget and been setting records in the process (including the highest-grossing film based on a video game and the first film based on a video game to gross at least US$1 billion, the second highest-grossing film of 2023, and the third-highest-grossing animated film) despite mixed reviews from critics which are being offset by positive audience response.
