Most of these are necessary because of user #51521's absolutely abysmal tagging, but I think we're going to have these problems in the future too so no point in ignoring the issue which is that a good percentage of self-uploaders do not understand how to tag and will continue creating these nonsense gentags unless we deprecate them now.

Yeah a preferable solution would be to follow up and retag and the dm the user to lurk more and learn the tags before uploading but we don't have danbooru's builder manpower (not that our builders know how to tag anyway) to do it like they do, so this is a half-assed solution to an endemic problem.

The autotagger might've suggested proper and more common tags if not removed...

I would prefer replacing all the tags for the egerously tagged posts with tagme over creating new BURs each time this happens.

Again, the issue is that we don't have many people willing to retag every post that's tagged wrongly. And the issue with nuking the tags and adding tagme is that you'd actually have to do it when you get to a post that is tagged incorrectly which doesn't actually happen:

You would have to first check if the posts are tagged correctly. Then you might as well retag or replace the tags anyways if the tagging is that bad. Wouldn't creating these BURs be more work actually because you have to identify the bad tags AND make a BUR?

They're empty because I retagged all the images with them. They're nuked because I want to prevent people from repopulating them again.

We have aliases for a reason. What, should we dealias firearm from gun too? You seem to think that the tagging system exists not to reduce workload but add onto it.

If you want to prevent people from repopulating a tag, that's what deprecating is for. A tag that is deprecated cannot be tagged. Nuke just brings the count to 0.

So what does nuking a tag with 0 posts do? The count goes from 0 to 0, meaning that does literally nothing.

nude and the respective gender tags such as 1girl, 1boy, etc can cover nude female, futa, male.
Forced X and raped is unnecessary when rape is all that's needed, same with revenge sex.
