〈小市民〉シリーズ, lit. Petit Bourgeoisie is a mystery novel series by Yonezawa Honobu that was first published in December 2004 by Sougen Suiri Bunko. Currently, the series is consisted of four published volumes.
Kobato Jougorou is a boy who wanted to reduce his habit of deducting and over-analyzing everything, Asanai Yuki is a girl who is avoided by others because of her strange tendencies. Both of them desire nothing more than to have a simple and peaceful high school life. This is a story about two people who is aiming and working together to be inconspicuous citizens (petit bourgeois).
