The main antagonist of Final Fantasy VII and its spinoffs.

A former member of the Shinra Electric Company, commander of SOLDIER, and the primary antagonist of Final Fantasy VII and Advent Children, and featured in Before Crisis, Crisis Core, and Last Order.

His remnants are Kadaj, Yazoo, and Loz. His theme song is the famed One-Winged Angel. Voiced by Morikawa Toshiyuki in Japanese and George Newbern in English.
