guillotine
A machine used to conduct executions by decapitation originating in France.
A typical guillotine consists of a large, heavy blade suspended between two tall wooden posts. Near the bottom of the posts the subject's neck is placed in a pillory-like restraint.
If someone is shown in the guillotine, the image should probably also include execution. If the subject is still alive and his/her head not yet severed, regardless of whether the blade has started falling or not, the peril tag should also be included. Otherwise, if the victim has been decapitated, death and guro should be used.
