green tea
A variety of tea that doesn't pass a fermentation/oxidation stage after drying. The color of its leaves are dark green, and will result in a very lightly-coloured brew when steeped. May, at times, specifically refer to Matcha (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matcha ), a powdered form of green tea from Japan usually used in tea ceremonies.
