A Catholic basilica in Cologne, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, officially called the Hohe Domkirche Sankt Petrus (Cathedral Church of Saint Peter). It is Germany's most visited landmark.
At 515 feet (157 meters) tall, it was the tallest building in the world for the first 10 years after its completion from 1880 to 1890 and remains the the tallest twin-spired church in the world, the second tallest church in Europe after Ulm Minster, and the third tallest church of any kind in the world.
