A term used in the series Neon Genesis Evangelion to describe a protective energy field used by the Angels. It is short for "Absolute Terror Field". The most used form is the "Defensive AT Field", so when it is hit, there is a visible octagonal fluctuation.

The Lance of Longinus is the only known weapon capable of breaking it.
