antlers
A pair of branched solid bone horn-like structures that arise from the frontal bone on the head of animals of the deer family, and frequently depicted on Eastern-style dragons. Unlike horns, antlers are branched, quickly develop underneath a covering of furry skin called velvet, consist of dead bone once fully developed, and regularly shed over the course of the animal's life (most commonly every year).
Antlers are distinct from horns and should not be tagged as such.
