Appearance
Dressed up like her fellow sister ships, she has short purple hair, and light purple eyes.
Sakawa is visibly different than her sisters - she is not only several inches shorter, but thinner and much less busty; she's an A-cup at best whereas Agano is somewhere around C or D. This reflects the age difference between her and her sisters. She was commissioned a little less than a year after Yahagi, after Agano and Noshiro had both sunk. She also never participated in combat because the IJN was short of fuel (in fact, this was what prevented her and the other surviving Akizuki-class destroyers under her DesRon from joining her sister Yahagi in Operation Ten-Go), and for that reason, like Taihou, she is physically unimpressive.
History
Due to her being commissioned late in the war and her inability to participate in Operation Ten-Gou, her only claim to fame is being used as a target for Operation Crossroads at Bikini Atoll in 1946 with several other ships, being sunk in the first Able detonation.
