Known in Japan as Rock Man (ロックマン) A metaseries of video games and related merchandise by Capcom. Not to be confused with Mega Man (classic), the classic Mega Man series, nor Mega Man, the title character of the classic series.
Altogether there are seven independent series of Mega Man games, all copyright tags:
- Mega Man (classic).
- Mega Man X, not to be confused with Mega Man X, the title character.
- Mega Man Legends.
- Mega Man Battle Network - a.k.a. Mega Man NT Warrior (for the anime), not to be confused with MegaMan.exe, the title character.
- Mega Man Zero, not to be confused with Zero, the title character.
- Mega Man Star Force.
- Mega Man ZX.
