An iPod with a touch screen feature. Visually similar to the iPhone except for:

• The absence of the phone speaker above the screen.
• The location of the earphone jack, which has always been at the bottom. The iPhone's, up until 4S, was at the top to accommodate the 30-pin connector slot, phone mouthpiece hole, and external speakers at the bottom. On the iPhone 5 and 6 lines, the size of the Lightning connector slot enabled the placement of the earphone jack at the bottom. The earphone jack is absent from the iPhone 7, instead included separately as a connector via the Lighting port.
• Size, with the introduction of the larger iPhone 6 line.
