Hibike! Euphonium Kitauji Kōkō Suisōgaku-bu e Yōkoso, lit. Sound! Euphonium, Welcome to Kitauji High School's Musical Instrument Club is a Japanese novel by Takeda Ayano with cover illustration by Asada Nikki which published on December 5, 2013 by Takarajimasha. It also has a manga adaptation which is illustrated by Hami. An anime adaptation, produced by Kyoto Animation aired in Japan Spring (Q2) 2015. An anime recap movie and a sequel anime were announced to be in the works by Kyoto Animation; the former premiered in Japanese theaters in April 23, 2016, the latter aired in Japan Fall (Q3) 2016 respectively.
