A half-human, half-qilin who serves as an emissary and secretary for the Liyue Qixing.
Due to Ganyu's resemblance to a goat, a common joke/meme involves her producing milk, or shows other characters expecting her to do so. Since one part of the main story involves Qiqi searching for a "Cocogoat", they are frequent partners for this gag.
Her name is pronounced Kan'u in the Japanese version of the game.
