why is my post being disapproved?

Hi Community, I'm new here, I've read the rules and I can't figure out why my generation is being disapproved. The image is perfect in terms of mind control and telepathy.

just trying to figure out whats wrong with it. is the concern for if it was actually AI generated? happy to provide generation parameters. even the heart speech bubbles are AI generated.

Whatever it is, I'll try to fix it.

Rules don't matter. It's just bad overall. It won't be approved because it's good in your eyes. That's just how it works.

Alright now let's not start telling people they can break the rules. If we didn't care we wouldn't have rules at all.

Click the Moderation button, you can see two disapprovals. What about the image specifically is bad may I ask? I feel given the theme it's good, but I'd love to fix anything that might be off.

I think I've figured it out. I appear to have broken two rules, I did not tag self_upload, and I uploaded an upscaled image. I will upload the original tonight. and queue it for deletion.

Do you understand people have to like your picture for it to be approved?
What do you think is nice about the picture you uploaded?
I mean I just see better pictures posted everywhere so I would want people to feel like browsing aibooru cause it has interesting, porn or pretty things posted.

Sure people have to like your post, but that's subjective. I have a post that few people have favourited that has been unapproved with reason "disinterest".

It only means that those approvers didn't personally like the post. "Disinterest" isn't used as a reason to say nobody at all likes it. If that were the case many posts would be deleted because a lot don't have any favs/score.

It only takes one approver to like your post enough to approve it, regardless of how many clicked "Not interested".

You're being very polite and not getting an answer, so I'm going to try my best to give you some reasons why the post might not be approved. Keep in mind, these are all guesses on my part because I'm not part of the system, and not necessarily valid in my own opinion:
- not colorful enough?
- left hand is turned the wrong way
- could be a lot more background detail possibly, could really add to the surrealness of the image and make it more obvious that it's supposed to be thus
- if the 'characters' were facing or interacting in some more obvious manner perhaps.
- maybe they found it too nonsensical
- maybe they just found it creepy

My advice is to go to some of the approver user pages (just look at who approved various images) and look at their favorites. I know I've seen surreal stuff approved before, so maybe look for stuff like that.
