Uploading an image based on anothers post.

So any rules or special tags to use regarding when posting an image based on another person's image?

In my case, I took another's image and then put pixel art in the prompt to get a similar but very pixel-art-looking image.

I figure at minimum I should make the original image the parent of the one I made.

What if the source image is deleted? I still kept the uploaded image or the deleted sources (both twitter and pixiv post) that I had img2img it as well.

If you have a reference image then upload to https://catbox.moe/ and link it in the artist commentary while adding the tags mentioned.

img2img if its a original non AI picture or inpainted if its a original AI picture, or both if you used img2img then inpainted the resulting image.

Wouldn't uploading the reference to media assets be better? That way it is archived as long as AIBooru exists, independent of Catbox's future.
On the upload page, the » below the image next to the file size links to the media asset, you can link it in dtext like this:
