BUR #640 is pending approval.
mass update hashtag-only_commentary commentary -> -commentary
For years, even before hashtag-only_commentary was a tag, the consensus had been that "commentaries that have only hashtags shouldn't be tagged with commentary". Yet, as of writing this topic, roughly third of the posts are tagged with such. Alternatively, if people want these to be tagged with commentary, it would be better to implicate it.

This Danbooru BUR was the reason why I decided to re-visit this. The conclusion in there as far as I understand is that commentary wiki is just outdated. So if we go with the BUR option #1, there should be a clarification after this line:
If the only untranslated portions of a commentary are meta, such as hashtags or mentions, then tag it with commentary and not partial commentary or commentary request.

I do not believe hashtag-only commentary should imply commentary because hashtags are there for findability. It is to help the general public find works they are interested in over the Internet, namely Twitter／X or Weibo. They are not really a commentary about the artwork, merely a "tag" (even if descriptive and fitting). However this is only my opinion

Agreed that the wiki is the problem.
I don't think these tags matter. I doubt anybody cares about the different between symbol commentary, hashtag commentary, number commentary, etc. If we want to keep it, it has to imply commentary.

I care about them, except for number-only commentary, this one is infuriating because it could easily be confused/overlapped with dated commentary (in posts that only contain the numbers). Its existence has been shattered in Danbooru just yesterday
