Hi. How does the promotion to Gold user level work? Are there some more specific requirement guidelines, or does it all depend on a moderator? Can you ask for a promotion somehow?

Not much honestly. Just upload a couple of images (around 30ish is probably the minimum) and show you understand how to manually tag. We locked the ai-autotagger behind gold+ because people were abusing it and just ticking down the boxes without checking to see if the elements were actually present in the image so at this point gold basically exists to prevent people from using misusing the autotagger. Eventually one of the mods will get around to promoting.
Joining the discord and being active would probably help. Asking would promotions would probably have the opposite effect of helping.
